HELP US FUND OUR NEXT SCHOOL PARTNERSHIP
We've been asked to help a high school in Brooklyn fund an arts and theater program to keep their teenage kids off the streets and engaged in activities they love; arts, theater and music! This will give their students a safe space to create music, put on plays and express their creativity in various ways through the school year and summer school!
"The student body at our school are majority African American, Hispanic, and Bengali students living in East New York, one of the most underserved and underrepresented neighborhoods in Brooklyn, New York. A good portion of our students are from low-income homes and qualify for free breakfast and lunch at our school. Our students face many social and emotional issues and are expected to set those things aside and perform well in school. These students need an outlet to keep them off the streets and safe. As a school we want to be that safe space." -Nicole, School Principal
